Le Craven – Photography
Le Craven has enjoyed taking photos since childhood when her parents taught her to shoot using a hand–me-down camera. As a kid with eye problems, seeing something or shooting something up close was a way of overcoming. As an adult, business and family interests took a precedence over photography until Le decided to get an MBA degree in 2003. With the opportunity to study in France for six months, Le purchased her first digital camera to record her travels between class. As she posted her adventures online her professional photography career was quietly begun.
Le’s images of France combined with photos of “home” – the western United States – were the heart of her first website and art shows. While her current focus is on Southern Arizona, she recently revisited Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Lake Tahoe, camera in hand.
Le’s photography focuses on the soft side of the desert, favorite places like Paris, and the “other ” west. She has been a juried artist at Desert Artisan’s Gallery since early 2010.
