We’re a summer cooling center created just for you!

The valley has been heating up for weeks! If you look across the desert floor, you’re bound to see dust devils rising on the super heated winds. Our winter visitors have long since migrated to cooler climes and all that are left are the hardiest Tucsonans! For those, Desert Artisans would like to extend a cool welcome to visit our gallery in the warmest parts of the day.

We hope to keep you cool and content in the gorgeous shaded confines of the gallery while we serenade you with relaxing tunes and tickle your eyes with new art! Did you know that we recently changed what’s up on the walls? Well we did and there is a gorgeous variety of inspired work just waiting for you to take it in fully.

For example, Gretchen Huff’s colored animal watercolors will charm you, Clydean Troner’s loveable clay pieces entertain and who can help but be fascinated by Charlie Gaskill’s portrayal of the mysterious Summer Solstice blooming Queen of the Night? Did you know that this wonderful cacti blooms on the same night of the year, typically June 21st, all across the valley?

We’re also thrilled to have a new addition to the gallery, acrylic and oil artist Madeleine Shea, who is adding her considerable talent to the mix with her uniquely bright and intriguing renderings of the Sonoran landscape, flora and fauna.
