Lynn Pass
I have always been interested in art. I majored in painting and art education in college. I received my Master’s Degree in Human Development at Ohio State. I’ve used my degrees in art and child development to help hospitalized children through the use of art and play therapy at the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases and at The Cleveland Clinic. I saw the healing power of art in this role as a Child Life Specialist. I later taught art in Oregon for 23 years, 21 of them at the high school level, which was a wonderful experience.
I work in a wide variety of media in my studio, using paint, glass, photography, astrophotography and clay to express my feelings about the beauty and mystery that exists in our world. I hope that I might inspire others to feel a reverence for nature, too, through my work.
