Sharon Bertrand
Watercolor and Pastel
Sharon Bertrand was born and raised in Southern Illinois. She received a BFA in painting and in printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute. Sharon has also studied at the Art Students League in New York City, at Pima College and the University of Arizona.
Sharon has had paintings accepted in many juried shows, including Arizona Aqueous, the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies and Watercolor USA. She was included in several invitational shows, “Endangered Species” at the Tubac Center of the Arts, “Tucson A-Z”, “Coyote” and “Common Ground: Four Visions of the Earth” at Tohono Chul Gallery and “Fine Arts for Fine Causes” at the Tucson Museum of Art. Sharon had a one person show, “Reptiles and Amphibians, Recent Paintings” at the University of Arizona and a two person show “Altered Visions” at the Jewish Community Center Gallery.
