Tim Bhajjan’s Watercolor Art

Tim Bhajjan is an associate at the American Watercolor Society, a Signature member and a Saguaro Fellow at the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild, Tucson, AZ.

Tim has been painting with watercolors for two decades and professionally for the last five years. Tim’s paintings are varied, both in subject and technique, and give hope through the light found in his works.

Tim is a versatile watercolor artist. He is continually developing new techniques to strengthen his work. He has developed a style of fusion in his paintings, which incorporates elements of realism and abstraction. Tim has also created biographical art, which shares key aspects of a person’s life through visually creative watercolor paintings. He enjoys doing both landscapes and portraiture art. Tim’s passion is to heighten the dimension of the infusion of colors in his paintings. His work communicates notes of peace, joy, hope and beauty!

Here is what one of his artist friends writes about his art:

“Tim’s striking artwork is a perfect marriage of God-given talent and the persistent pursuit of excellence! Having known Tim for over 15 years, I have watched as his artwork progressed as he has carefully cultivated his skill with passion and determination. Tim’s style is continually unfolding; his touch seems to grow ever lighter as new elements emerge creating a truly unique approach. The result is the seemingly effortless interpreting of his world in light and color that goes beyond simply capturing an image. His work transports the viewer to a moment – or a collection of moments – in time that would otherwise be lost to us; and fills that moment with meaning. To enjoy Tim’s paintings is to enter his world; a world of warmth and honesty that is always uplifting.” - Debbi Fralick - Artist

Tim’s paintings have been displayed at Arizona State University’s Watts College in Phoenix, AZ; the Intersection Gallery in Gilbert, AZ; the Yuma Art Center in Yuma, AZ; and the SAWG Art Gallery in Tucson, AZ. Tim’s painting, Bearing Fruit, was accepted into the 2023 Arizona Aqueous XXXVII show at Tubac Center of the Arts; Fargo won the Best of Show Award at the Last Impressions Show held at SAWG’s Gallery, and Red Hot, was selected to be on the book cover of Those Who Are Gone, by Lawrence Lihosit.

In July 2023, Tim, along with 13 other international co-authors, contributed a chapter to the book The Artist Haven. It became a #1 International bookseller on Amazon.  Autographed copies of The Artist Haven are now available for purchase on Tim’s website timbhajjanart.com.
