Oil and Acrylic Painting
Artist Statement
“My work is grounded in the desert, where shifting light, saturated color, and recognizable landscapes become a visual language for memory, belonging and home. Through recurring motifs—canyons, deserts, animals and quiet human figures—I explore the Southwest as a region in which people, animals, and land participate in a single, interdependent narrative. For me, making these images is a kind of medicine—an intentional practice that helps me feel more grounded, present, and whole. By offering the work to others, I hope to share that same sense of comfort and healing with the collectors who choose to live with these paintings.”
